A few weeks of summer in Iceland while studying among the leading researchers and experts, is both a valuable source of knowledge as well as an unforgettable experience. RES Summer School is offering interesting programs which are based in a most unique learning environment.
In the classroom our teachers will present you with new challenges and insights into the world of renewable energy technologies and policies. Outside of the classroom, you can meet your peers and expand your network of like-minded people whom care about sustainable issues, do your assignments together under the midnight sun, hike to Iceland´s geothermal areas or just witness the world of renewable energy unfold before your very eyes (or under your feet).
The RES Summer School offers a global learning environment, focusing on solutions and understanding, while providing you with the perfect setting for an extraordinary adventure.
The RES Summer School Program provides students from around the world the opportunity to undergo intensive coursework and gain experience through field excursions during Iceland´s summer season. As with the Graduate School, the Summer School Program focuses on renewable energy science and technologies, particularly geothermal power, hydroelectric power, hydrogen fuel and other alternative fuel sources, as well environmental issues and energy economics. All courses and communication are in English.
