RES | RESnet

 RES places great emphasis on international cooperation and partnership with leading universities and research institution around the world and we seek to be active members of the international renewable energy community, with the focus on excellent education and research in renewable energy.

Current faculty members come from altogether twelve countries, including Iceland. Our foreign visiting professors come from United States, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Italy, Slovakia, Poland, Swiss, Brazil, and Slovakia. The largest number of foreign professors comes from the United States. Even in Icelandic strongholds such as geothermal energy and hydropower, the foreign visiting professors provide the needed international perspective. Our graduates have therefore access to a rapidly growing RES energy network of expertise, and this will be very beneficial in their future renewable energy careers.

These established partnerships between RES and international technical universities and energy companies will guarantee future faculty and staff exchange, and research collaboration.
