The RES Rector, Dr. Bjorn Gunnarsson, and Rector Prof. Andrzej Sobkowiak of Rzeszow University of Technology signed a new partnership agreement on the 10th of November 2009 in Rzeszow, Poland.
Rector Bjorn Gunnarsson and RES’s former Director of International Affairs, Mr. Olafsson, visited Rzeszow University of Technology in Poland on the on 9th and 10th of November 2009. During the visit they met with Rector Prof. Andrzej Sobkowiak, Vice-Rector of General Affairs, Prof. Feliks Stachowicz, Vice-Rector for Research Prof. Jacek Kluska, Dr. Mariusz Szewczyk, and many others members of the university academic administration.
On the 10th of November a new partnership agreement between RES and Rzeszow University of Technology was signed, further strengthening the ties between the two institutions in education and research. Following the signing Rector Gunnarsson gave a presentation about renewable energy technologies in Iceland and RES’s M.Sc. Degree Program.
