Our M.Sc. Degree Program in Renewable Energy Science is built on Iceland‘s expertise in renewable energy technologies and the country’s impressive utilization of renewable energy as 82% of Iceland’s primary energy is currently coming from indigenous renewable energy sources, highest of any country.
We currently offer five specializations in our M.Sc. Degree Program: Geothermal Energy, Hydropower, Fuel Cell Systems & Hydrogen, Biofuels & Bioenergy, and Energy Systems & Policies. Please see information on each of our specializations here. Minimum admission requirement for our M.Sc. Degree Program is a B.Sc. degree with top grades in engineering or physical/natural sciences.
